What are the best ways to repair bad credit?

Many of my accounts have been determined uncollectible, so from here, where do I go?
Please no answers from snot-nose high schoolers.

Do you mean have been charged off? Paying a charged off acount is not going to help your credit score at all. It will be necessary if you want to purchase a house unless you can get the items deleted.

You should first start by getting your report, looking it over closely for errors and negative items. The older an item, the easier to get it deleted. If it is old and charged off, it is even easier because lenders don’t often take the time to verify these.

Open a secured card and make sure you keep your balances below 30% and do not miss a payment. After a year they will convert it to unsecured.

There is so much information on what and how this should happen.

See. http://www.comebackcredit.com/how-is-my-credit-score-calculated/

There is a lot more information on the site but you should walk away with some more knowledge on the process. It is just too much to write here.

Good luck

You can still pay your debts which will show on your credit report as having gone to collection but paid in full. This is better than having gone to collections and noncollectable. In either case, these will stay on your credit report for at least 7 years.

The best way to repair bad credit is to pay your debts and then start showing a history of being a good borrower. You may have to get a secured loan or find a friend or family member to cosign on a loan for you, but you have to build a history of being a risk free borrower. Only then will you begin to rebuild your credit.

Legit question. I assume you would like to restore your credit and get back into good standing. Unfortunately there are lots and lots of less than credible resources and even more willing to just pick your pocket for a promise to fix, but no help. Just a few weeks ago my son found some good help from:

http://www.credit-mend.com

his score went up 68 points in just 45 days.
