Need to borrow a little under $6k personal loan unsecured.?
Had financial problems in the past, now solved. One of my sons was faced with a serious matter and needed $4K to solve. I was able to obtain a $2.4000 unsecured loan which i am paying on schedule some six months ago, a small credit card $300.00 and a small loan of $500.00 plus a friend lend me $1000.00. I want to consolidate all in one loan since my son will not be able to repay for some time, at best. My income is very secured, $800.00 pension from top notch co.lifetime, about $2,454.00 combined [65/63]social security, and $1,600.00 mo.income [since 9/5/06] from new job. With above loan would pay off and canc debt indicated and some $800.00 -/+ to bring my 1993 Nissan Maxima to top conditions [lots of miles left on that car and no payments] . Realize that i will need to pay a premium due to past issues, but going forward has never looked better. All of my income is direct deposit and can have the loan payments deducted automatically from checking account
Thanks to T.O. my loan, as reflected is from Prosper, superb outfit, and one of the lenders to be paid off….
Thank you so much Centersta, but unsecured personal loans are here to stay and specially in the lower K’s like the one i am looking for….yes, maybe not from a traditional bank like yours but very much available in others…including some mayor finance company subsidiaries of really large banks…but thanks anyway….if i had the kind of assets you mention i would not be asking….

Try http://www.prosper.com for person to person ledning.
typically, you must have $10,000 worth of assets per $1000 you borrow for an unsecured loan. banks make exceptions depending on how well they know their customer and how much of a risk they are willing to take. signature loans are quickly becoming a thing of the past. try a secured loan…like using your car for collateral. or if you own your house or have a mortage on it, you can get a home equity loan or line of credit to consolidate your bills.
