If i have a credit score of 624 what are my chances of getting a personal loan from a credit union?

Ive already tried getting a personal loan from my bank but they dont have personal loans anymore. Would it be easier for me to get a loan through a credit union?

Your score is bad, since you do not have an account with the credit union you cannot get a loan. Try opening an account with them first. With your score the interest rate will be horrific

You’re probably going to have a hard time getting any kind of unsecured personal loan with that credit score.

You can try the links here, which will probably get you a loan with that score, but your interest rates are going to be higher than if your score ws better: http://www.credittrauma.com/bad-credit-credit-offers/loans/

Now, if you want to work on increasing your scores, there are many things you can do to increase them. Visit: http://RepairCreditTrauma.com

Hello,

My Name is Maureen Sliver i live in the UK and life is worth living comfortably for me and my family now and i really have never seen goodness shown to me this much in my life as i am a struggling mum with three kids and i have been going through a serious problem as my husband encountered a terrible accident last two weeks, and the doctors states that he needs to undergo a delicate surgery for him to be able to walk again and i could not afford the bill for his surgery then i went to the bank for a loan and they turn me down stating that i have no credit card, from there i run to my father and he was not able to help, then when i was browsing through yahoo answers and i came across a loan lender Mrs Lillian Johnson who provides loans at an affordable interest rate and i have been hearing about so many scams on the internet but at this my desperate situation, i had no choice than to give it an attempt and surprisingly it was all like a dream, i received a loan of $35,000 USD and i payed for my husband surgery and thank GOD today he is okay and can walk and is working and the burden is longer so much on me any more and we can feed well and my family is happy today and i said to my self that i will shout aloud to the world of the wonders of GOD to me through this GOD fearing lender Mrs Lillian Johnson and i will advise anyone in genuine and serious need of loan to contact this GOD fearing woman via lillianjohnsonloancompany22@yahoo.com and i want you all to pray for this woman for me.

No. Your credit score is too low. Personal (or signature) loans are nearly impossible to get anywhere by anyone except those with beyond-excellent credit, long relationships with their banks, high income (and very stable, secure income!) – and even those people have a problem getting unsecured loans these days. You cannot get unsecured credit where you do not have long-standing accounts.

Since 1/1/08, the amount of consumer credit lines available has been cut by more than $1.7 Trillion. Credit lines closed, credit cards cancelled, home equity lines of credit cancelled, etc. The banks don’t have the money – they are buried in bad debt from people who haven’t paid their bills.

You cannot get a loan. With your credit score, you cannot get a collateralized loan, like a car loan or mortgage. If you have a substantial CD at the bank, you can borrow up to 75 – 80% against your CD – i.e. secured loan. So if you have a $5000 CD, you can borrow around $3000 – 4000. The bank holds your CD until you pay back the loan.
