I have bad credit and need a loan to payoff my old debts to clear my credit where can I go to apply?

I am trying to fix up my homes and I have bad credit due to past problems. I would like to pay off all of my old debts to clear my credit and I would like to know where I could go to apply for a loan of at least $15,000?
