This book is for someone that doesn’t know anything about trying to repair credit. I didn’t learn anything new and I think that the purchase was a waste of money.

If you have any questions on how credit works or how to fix damaged credit this is the book for you. After reading this one cover to cover and using the tips Dana provides I raised my score over 120 points in less that 12 months.

The book left me not really knowing what to do overall. I have tried writing dispute letters myself and gotten denied repeatedly. [. . . ] is a site ran by volunteer credit repair experts that offers credit dispute letters for credit inquires, late comments, collections, charge-offs, etc. They have examples on the website that show their letters work.

I was raised in a family of bad credit and bankruptcy and as a young adult I had no appreciation for the importance of my own credit. Needless to say, I found myself in my early thirties and with a credit score of 499 due to divorce and a lack of respect for the importance of credit. In three months I was able to raise my score and average of 171 points by following this book’s guidance. Best Credit is not going to tell you how to cheat your way to a better score (it took a little bit of cash to fix my past sins), but its going to tell you EVERYTHING you need to do to be efficient in your endeavors!

Everyone has a credit report, but what do they know about it. Getting the high credit scores is tough and hard to maintain, but Dana does a great job of giving the overview and then diving in deep. There are more tools and techniques in here than a Sears tool store. Yes I have applied many of them for myself and others. They work! Is this on your reference shelf? Why not?
