Banks are promoting credit cards again
After a three-year squeeze on consumer credit, credit cards are making a rebound – and so are credit card interest rates. Between the second quarters of 2009 and 2010, average credit card interest rate jumped from 13.1 percent to 14.7 percent, according to the market research firm Synovate.
